Joseph, Mary Meeker from Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in that Fortune article thinks its a layup for the Internet community to grow to 150 million by the year 2000. I think someone in the current issue of Wired predicts 1 billion by the year 2000.

Also, in the Fortune artcle someone stated that people are buying PCs to go on the Internet - suggesting that the Internet is creating a new market for PCs.

Never mind the implications of SUNW / Intel cross licensing agreement on Paul Engel's coined phrase "big iron".

I'm trying to keep my mind open, but I can't see a slow down in PC demand anywhere in sight.

What am I missing?
