Sorry, but angels and demons were in the pre-exilic scriptures......This one really gets you doesn't it? The fact that everyone in the scholarly world knows these mostly illiterate uncivilized goat herders steal their angelic cosmology from the Persians bothers you so much? All freely admit to this from the Jewish encyclopedia, Wiki, and every other scholarly writing of that period. Perhaps this is why the subject of angels & demons is so often ignore these days, someone has something to hide? Like the Day of Judgement , Afterlife & images of Hell that were also clearly stolen from the Egyptians?
