They spoke a Germanic language

I think the modern Germanic languages are a combination of Saxon and the Indo-Aryan language although I am not a linguist and can only speak the rudiments of any language but English.

The Jutes, I think, came from East Europe, possibly what is now Poland. I think they pushed the Angles and Charudes from North Germany/Denmark around 300AD. The Angles took to sea toward England (Angle-Land) and the Charudes took to sea and discovered the previously unreported warm fjords of Norway.

I don't know what language they spoke, but they all speak some dialect of German today.
