In an interview on CNBC, Mr. Cuban said he owns more than 50,000 shares of Netflix. On whether he will be a short-term or long-term holder, Mr. Cuban said his plan is to “never sell it.”

“Relative to other media companies and other tech companies, it’s just so far undervalued,” Mr. Cuban said on CNBC. “It’s just so underpriced right now that it’s amazing to me.”

Mr. Cuban said he doubts that Netflix CEO Reed Hastings would want to sell, although he noted: “there’s always a price for everything.”

“I see Netflix as being the epicenter for content and growth right now and that’s why I bought it,” Mr Cuban added.
