Charles, Here is another about $999 comps www5.zdnet.com Where is your Walmart reference, I searched ZDnet and found only the above ref about 999 comps, an old one too. There is a lot of talk about a huge market crash after Xmas, due to over supply. The first indication might be the spot market for CPUs will fall below the list price(currently AMD spot is above list, showing sale of all in sight, and Intel is below list showing some degree of over supply)(varies with product) Bill
