I agree with the first point. Move them to centers that are equipped similar to what was done for the first two patients flown in from W. Africa.

On the second point, we need to do what is practical in that we cannot ban all travel from W. Africa. I am sure that our Immigration folks are already scrutinizing each and every passport to determine if anyone was in West Africa during the 21 days preceding travel into the U.S. The US homeland security may be already working with authorities in other countries where flights to the U.S. originate. They should be prevented to even board flights there.

And lastly, the USFDA should bend their rules to start using the Ebola vaccines while they conduct their stage 1, 2 and 3 trials. I don't understand what is so unethical about it. These are terminally ill folks anyway. It is worthwhile to take one last shot at preserving life, a noble endeavor IMHO.

What Health Care worker at a local hospital wants to sign up for this:

No restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters or other places where members of the public congregate. No travel by airplane, ship, long-distance bus, train or other modes of commercial transportation.

Where I still working, me. As long as somebody drops off groceries and picks up mail, and maybe some reading matter from the bookmobile, it's fine. It's 3 weeks. They pass fast. I always did like to get paid for doing nothing.

"do everything possible to prevent any more incoming Ebola patients from just showing up in our country."

That starts with quarantining Texas for 3 weeks.
