Good morning Nemer--how is the training of the dog coming along??

Last week I posted that I was going to short OEX options when I got a signal on my model as opposed to go long the options. I have not initiated my short put position yet -- given the buy signal. But for the benefit of the thread, I am going to post what would have happened if one did initiate these positions as and when the signal is triggered--just so that we can keep track of how well it would fare. I want to emphasize that this is purely a theoretical portfolio -- it does not mean that I have established a position. I will post real-time positions that I establish separately.

Anyway, when the signal was triggered yesterday the OEX was trading at about 460 -- and if one would have sold the OEX Jan 460 puts one would have received 11 1/2 points in premium. Now we will maintain this short position for this theoretical exercise until I get a sell signal or go flat the futures.

Let's see what happens, from this point.

BTW, I am looking to short the puts on a pull-back in terms of a real trade.
