I have stated very clearly that i believe the Old Testament is an original template for Holy War, have yet to see you disprove or counter that. I have already shown that the Masada 'heros' that were used to engender national pride were cut throat murderers as reported by Josephus. That wouldn't have stopped me for a moment from humanist, psychological healing & a sense of complete fairness & justice of allowing Israel to be formed post WWII. But cut the ancient nonsense, the Hebrews suffrered greatly because of their own violent natures, we see even the ancient Egyptians trying to pacify those tribes & civilize them. Which btw, is why i know the Bible is a later compilation, there's no way in hell those earlier violent hilltribes & petty chiefs were capable of such eloquence, not a chance in the world. Post Babylon, Persian & Greek influences---------------->yes.
