That was a bit like a greatest hits collection. I hadn't thought about those days in a while. That was about the time that first one then another kid graduated high school and went to college. I switched to time consuming, but more lucrative jobs since my wife and I had made a secret pact (with each other, the kids didn't know) to make sure they got in and out of school without debt. I posted less and less here. I got mail last week that the last course of the last kid was finally approved and a diploma would be granted at the end of the semester. That one course took more than a year and was stressful to me, if not for my son. At any rate I have finally retired and that gave me time of which I spend a bit posting now. It also makes me nostalgic in that I miss Neocon. I disagreed with him on most things, but he had both a quick and a deep mind and posting to him made me think my positions very carefully. It may not have been his intention, but he made me a better person.
