Rob L.

Can certainly understand your nervousness holding at 6.75. Especially if you have short term investment horizons.
I was fortunate enough to get in early and still have a cushion in my averaged holdings of TOPRO, so maybe I can be more objective in my evaluation.

Topro has a business plan that needs the time for execution. They have made the stockholders privy to the general schedule for this execution and in my view they have been progressing the business plan according to schedule and much faster than most y2k startups. However, they are still in a speculative stage of this progress. As such they are more than usually subject to the vageries and churn created by the market. That churn is presently in downdraft mode as can be witnessed by the fall of a lot of good solid stocks, tech and otherwise. When this insecurity pervades the marketplace, a lot of stupid things start happening and generally the more speculative or unproven stocks take the largest beating. It is to TOPRO's credit that it has held up well in this context, absorbing a PP all at the same time.

Y2k stocks that are presently holding up well are very established players in the sector. Embedded y2k problems have come to awareness comparatively recently and will need some time to catch up. However I believe that this is a unique y2k situation and opportunity which is why I am in the stock. That being said,I refuse to confuse patience with becoming emotionally attached.

Best Wishes,

Gerry

Dear Rob; Well, what I mean is if very fine TECH stocks are way down (many over 30%) people may feel more inclined to buy a large TECH company which has a good chance of improving as an unknown TPRO. Here's an example. CYPRESS SEMICONDUCTOR CY yesterday you could have gotten it for about 7 5/8. Today its up well above 8. Percentagewise one could have done well on it with very little downside risk. I only picked that one as it was selling close to TPRO price. So it all comes down to supply and demand. Lots of good buys out there right now. That, IN MY OPINION ONLY, is the reason OUR volume is down so much. It will change when we start getting some good to great presss releases on contracts and earnings. Be patient. I dont think we will hit your 80% bailout figure of $5.20 as there is a big bunch of buy orders sitting in there at 5 1/2. JDN
