In China, in the late 20th century the shovel ready jobs were done by Chinese Women lining up with brooms and shovels as roads were built with underground tunnels under the roads. The women were doing the "shovel ready work". Sometimes the women would give a quick glance up and give a little smile; however they were obviously being watched and foreboden to interact with we Americans who went to study their tai chi and Chi Gong--------unlike Michelle and Obama, we Americans paid our own ways. No Government freebies for travel such as such Michelle, Obama and their frequent flyers receive now in 2o14. I am not surprised that China has made progress economically now------------the young people wanted to be like "us"-------they were studying computer work then and wanted to know how to dance the American dances------such as tango and ballroom etc. They were not interested in "hip hop rock at that time". Medically they were concerned about AIDS, had to have AIDS test to certify free of AID before ientering China. I wonder today if they are as concerned about EBOLA. Some of their gold has come from Africa, so I wonder if China has any cases or are concerned about the EBOLA from the areas of China that receive gold from now. . mj
