Quarterdeck's RealHelp Is a Worthy Problem-Solver
by Dan Costa, Trends and Technology

From the Beta 1 Review:

Like CyberMedia's First Aid or Symantec's Norton CrashGuard Deluxe, RealHelp works more like a suite of integrated tools than like a single utility. Its feature list is too long to detail here, but it includes everything from a virus scanner to a crash interceptor, from the Registry Repairer to the nifty Preinstall Inspector, which searches its built-in database for known hardware and software conflicts before you install a new application.

The $59.95-estimated RealHelp Extra Strength justifies the extra $20 in price with a one-year subscription to Quarterdeck's automated TuneUp service, which lets users download everything from the latest virus definitions to driver and software patches, with the click of a button.

Based on features and price, RealHelp looks like a worthy competitor to packages such as First Aid and Symantec's Norton Utilities.
