The clearest examples of the difference between Republicans and Democrats are the states of Texas and California. How are they each performing? The latest from the BEA says it all:

CA is doing very well thank you very much:

David Cay Johnston: State’s job growth defies predictions after tax increases

Last year California added 410,418 jobs, an increase of 2.8 percent over 2012, significantly better than the 1.8 percent national increase in jobs.

ns after tax increases

Without TX's dependency on oil production, what do you think TX's growth rate would be? I'll take CA's economy over TX's any day of the week.

And that doesn't change the fact that your boy in KS has done exactly what you have been telling us to do in this country for the past 6 years. And you know what...................ITS A BIG FAIL!

CA has a Democratic super majority in both legislatures and the Guv's mansion is occupied by a Democrat who is so ultra liberal that folks call him "moonshine"
CA:
Ready on first day of Obamacare
Increased taxes and also increased entitlements under social programs
Employment (high paying jobs) going through the roof causing people to move into the state from other states and even other countries
Ready to tackle Ebola should the need arise
Anything else???

TX Legislature majorities are Republican, Guv mansion occupied by a Republican
TX
Messed up on Ebola
Jobs are low paying
Social program entitlements extremely low
School performance very low compared to other states
Want to hear more????

Don't continue to mouth off. They say "Wise men speak because they have something to say, fools because that have to say something" Figure out which one are you.

>>>For the second consecutive quarter, the earnings increase in Texas was larger than the increase in every other state. Earnings in Texas, which accounted for 8.9 percent of the nation, grew $19.2 billion in the second quarter. Earnings in California, which accounted for 13.2 percent of the nation, grew $16.9 billion.

Watch how they do, with oil prices down. Seriously MM, in your desperate quest to be right you'll grab any fleeting metric.

I remember when you were sensibly against our oil economy. Had a lot of respect for you, then. Wish I knew what happened.

It doesn't matter what earnings are if the people don't get taken care of. Texas has a horrible record of social injustice.
