Regarding the quarterly report: they said nothing about the new C.E.O.
I just hope they start making some money off Oncolym so they can pay for the developement of their other products without seriously mortgaging the future of those products.

Manfred

Dave, are the 'rumblings' you hear from the same guy who was always 'ready to rumble.....' on your home aol thread? Let's just stick to the facts.

It is a fact that a CEO search is being/has been conducted and, upon the search committee's recommendation, a candidate(s) will be, is being presented to the board. Not being a member I am not privy to the info.

The board has a fiduciary responsibility to hire a CEO who can sell TCLN's prospects to the industry, the public, and Wall Street. Lon Stone is not a fundraiser nor a salesman but a scientist and is well aware of it. He has always maintained that he would step aside at the proper time and the indications are numerous that this is the proper time.

Let's stick to the facts.

Well, well, well....the info iceberg at TCLN seems to be thawing. I hear the search committee trekked eastward last week and made their pick. CV's have been distributed to directors. Next step would be for the candidate to meet the B of D's and negotiate a salary. IMO the salary/options (when vested) of the chosen one will be a fraction of the stock appreciation (cause and effect) and I predict a unanimous vote of approval, though I am told the vote will be confidential. So the coronation could be merely a matter of logistics - travel, current job, the holidays, etc.

I trust that whomever is chosen to conduct the TCLN orchestra is as gifted as much as the job is a gift. What a sense of accomplishment he will have. (Apologies for being schmaltzy but it's been a long road)
