Gene: As I understand it, how soon one needs to convert is very much dependent on the broker you use. I seem to recall some posts a week or two ago indicating some brokers were requiring conversion as early as 12/15 - YESTERDAY!

My broker (Fidelity) wrote that I have until 3pm on the 22nd to convert or redeem. I guess it depends on the broker.

They expire at the market close I believe.

They apparently won't be useless a couple of days prior, even though brokerage houses need notice a couple of days in advance. I still can sell them to someone who can convert, I would think any MM firm could convert up to the last minute. I could also try to convert as all my information states that they will attempt to convert up to the last minute on a best efforts basis. I don't know if you can be short warrants, but that would create a market.

In any event as long as someone can convert up to the last minute, there will be a market for the warrants.

GO PACK GO!
