Funny about MU, wasn't it? I thought tehy'd get hit for four or five points. I mean, their earnings and outlook for the next few quarters could scarcely be worse.

And yet tehre were some very big buys this morning. Short covering? But why? In anticipation of waht? Of the chairman telling us he was just joking?

After all, if you wanna buy beat-up tech stocks there are a great many whose prospects are infinitely better.

And tehn we ahve teh Slickster with a new lab puppy, (wihch ain't such bad dogs, BTW). And speculation on the pup's name to be announced in Slickster's last news conference of the year. "One hundred and one donations" seems like an apropos name; but kind of a mouthful wehn suohting at ihm not to cehw on taht tastey electrical cord. -vbg-
