They flee Egypt right at a time when the Egyptians are already up controlling the Levant, very strange they missed that reality timeline. Because your timeline is wrong. Egypt wasn't unchanging as you think. There were many periods of history in which Egypt was weak and divided. Egypt was invaded and conquered by Nubians more than once and invaded and conquered by Canaanite Hyksos fleeing the Israelite invasion. BTW Canaanites introduced the chariot into Egypt. Btw, the Egyptians had a major influence on the Phoenicians too. That's why the Phoenicians adopted hieroglyphics and a 10 day week ... oh wait, they didn't.
