Dear Bob: It is interesting how many of the Jewish faith lavish their wives with jewelry; I understand that the reason for this is because they have had to go into exile, or escape persecution so many times throughout history that this has been a way of escape for them. In the final analysis however, Christ provides our way of escape, and we must all depend on him and him alone. Christ also taught in the parable of the unjust steward that the children of darkness are wiser in their realm, ( the realm of the earthly ) than the children of light are in our realm ( the realm of the heavenly ), so we must be cautious, calculating, and shrewd in the realm of the spiritual. Amen. And use ALL the armour of God; to defeat our foes.
