The IPCC says oceans will rise between 7 inches and 23 inches by the year 2100. The Third National Climate Assessment (NCA), released May 6th, 2014, projects a sea level rise of 1 to 4 feet by the year 2100. Now this guy is saying 10 feet??

LOL, you true-believer alarmists are getting crazier and crazier every day.

The problem is the city is run by climate change deniers
The problem is that people continue to build in flood plains due to the availability of govt subsidized insurance. If people had to pay market rates, there would be very little building in low lying coastal areas. This is a govt made problem with an easy solution, stop subsidizing people living in high risk locations.

Miami, the great world city, is drowning while the powers that be look away

This AM I watched an old TV program about replacing a home for a woman whose house was washed away in Katrina. The replacement was largely prefab, screwed and glued, set ten feet above ground level in huge pilings embedded in concrete and designed to withstand 150 mph winds. This home was designed and built by private interests learning how to better adapt to circumstances that couldn't have been ameliorated in poorer times

That's an example of a proper reaction to prior inadequacies. Doing so requires a vibrant economy, the healthier the better.

The chicken littles would instead have us emulate North Korea. You, Kenneth, represent a lot of people unequipped to recognize realities.
