Yup,

John Coleman had no education in the sciences at college.

Did well with a journalism degree!

After receiving his journalism degree in 1957, he became the weather anchor for WCIA's sister station WMBD-TV in Peoria, Illinois. Coleman was also a weather anchor for KETV in Omaha, WISN-TV in Milwaukee and then WBBM-TV and WLS-TV in Chicago. [1] [4]

He has no degree in Atmospheric Sciences or meteorology.

Weather Channel founder isn't even a meterologist. He was a newsreader who studied journalism, not weather, in college.

Here is what the Weather Channel has to say on the matter. Unlike Coleman, these people studied some physics.
