How gratifing to know one of the most brilliant Catholic thinkers is agreeing with me --> Jacques Maritain was arguably the best known Catholic philosopher in the world. The breadth of his philosophical work, his influence in the social philosophy of the Catholic Church, and his ardent defenses of human rights made him one of the central figures of his times. As i've been counciling brumar all along its not too late to rejoin the Mother Church & save his soul, but there's too much hubris, materialism, & demonizing self interest standing in the way. When are they going to learn the 'soul' & the supernatural isn't something they can wave around in self righteousness like a flag, the soul also requires a brain that has recieved some nurturing in the ways of Nature's reality too. Not rote dogma & cut n pastes but real observation from experience.
