The QWEST story made the top story in the Orange County Register here in sunny southern california. Gonna be 70's here at the beach today :}

Title of story is "Dropping the dime on long distance"

Says basically that they are going to offer service in anaheim and a few other citys for 7.5 cents/min using the internet. Doesnt say how they are going to expand to the rest of the country.

Last paragraph reads " Though MCI, sprint, and AT$T have not dismissed the notion of using internet technology to provide long distance service, none intended to IMMEDIATELY match Qwest's 7.5 cents/min rate"

I have had an order in all morning for 6000 at 4.25, they wont touch it. More bottom feeding.
