OK.. The aerial view looking down looks like chaos. No "grid planned" streets. Simply because there was no central plan.. Hence, the name.

Yet, if you go to these areas, they streets are remarkably clean and tidy. There is a great amount of "civic pride".. Even in the poorest areas.

Of course, you wouldn't know this or comprehend this because you have never been there. It is a vivid exception to the typical Rio/Sao Palo/ Central American/South American slum.

In this case, you have no idea what reality is.. Because you have NEVER BEEN THERE.

Perhaps you could educate yourself. Go down to the Post Office and apply for a Passport, buy a ticket to Medellin and I will arrange to have someone drive out to the Airport (1hr drive) and pick you up and give you a tour.
