Seeing how the Democratic party is not going all out to keep the Senate majority I am not sure where you're getting that impression. The DSCC has gone into states this cycle with $$$ that normally it would stay out of........KY, GA and SD. Any place where there is a chance of winning. Right now, they are fighting Dem apathy which tends to be high in non presidential elections. And apparently, in some places, there efforts to GOTV is working..........like in NC.

Chinu - Re DNC not competing to retain the senate - I can only speak for NC. The DNC and associated groups are going all out here to win. Cant see how they can do much more. Can't get away from the politics. Cant wait until it is over and hopefully Harry Reid is relegated to an opposition figure for the minority party. Neil
