Hawkmoon, I fully agree with you, but fact is that Netanyahu cares more about his own career and those of his close supporters and less about the average Israeli people and this fact is very true.

He is also greatly controlled by his wife a extremely selfish former stewardess with ZILCH understanding of world matters and several Israeli tycoons who engaged in money laundering and questionable transaction inflicting close to 20 billions in losses upon the banks, pension funds and insurance companies of the Israeli working people. No one went to jail, some on this thread know that.

Israel as it is now is rife with corruption and the axiom of rub my back I will rub yours. Rule of law related to banking and money laundering is totally absent and the National Fraud Investigation Unit of LAHAV 433 is nothing more than a political tool to get rid of those not singing the song or are exaggerating in their kleptomaniac conduct or are too critical of this administration.

In a nutshell the rule of law is non-existent for those well connected.

One of his biggest supporters moved to London to evade the tax man, money laundering is practiced as a normal way of doing banking business.

as is the business practice of paying bribes galore (article should be translated they did not publish it in English)

Well connected people who squandered billions in pension funds walk free without indictment

and the inflation is raging

Therefore I posted the link and he deserve the name calling unrelated to the ME policies because he is exactly as described in the article.

The fact that there is another world leader much worse than he is, does not justify his and his government reckless conduct

That's one option but there's an infinite array of possibilities. <We all know how this story is going to end (glowing rubble heaps in various Muslim capitals)... The question is when and how it is triggered.. > Let's not get into self-fulfilling prophecies.

There seems to be no point in negotiating much at all with people who are interested only in totalitarian conquest of all infidels and especially Jews.

Islamic jihad made great strides across the planet when totalitarian kingdom dynasties ruled everywhere, because the people at the bottom of the heap were happy enough to join an ideology which freed them from the yoke of serfdom at best. But with the advent of democracy, free enterprise and the Virtuous Victorian Values of the Enlightenment, the more or less free world got up a literal head of steam and took over huge swathes of the world.

Jihad has nothing to offer other than a replacement for religious idolatory which has fallen by the wayside in many countries. But their religious premises are of poor quality at best, unfit for the modern world. Perhaps like the free world, Islamic mania will fizzle out in a generation or two. 100 years ago, Christianity was still powerfully gripping the so-called free world. But it's a pale shadow of its former power.

While their terrorism around the world is annoying and fatal in many instances, it's trivial in totality. Barely worse than Ebola. They can't succeed and will fizzle out as their oil riches dwindle and are replaced.

The world already has to deal with one Islamic country with a nuclear arsenal-Pakistan, and look at what it costs the USA: $billions upon billions each year spent operating many military bases in the region, many more billions paid directly to Pakistan, and a boomer parked off shore Pakistan 24-7, ready to turn it into a large sheet of glass if India doesn't act first.

I am very worried about Iran's intransigence on their nuclear weapons program. In addition to the tenets of the Koran, history is replete with examples of how Shiite or Sunni deal with each other and infidels. Either of them with nuclear weapons is a clear and present danger to humanity.

Here is "Islam 101" for a better understanding:

jihadwatch.org

In the context of modern democracy, I see THE fundamental problem of Islam is that it is both religious and political, in that under the tenets of Islam, there is no separation of church and state; and is inherently totalitarian in nature. As such, and as harsh as this may seem, I believe Islam must be outlawed in western democracies, and all mosques torn down as Islam is a threat to our freedom.
