As the Madison Bumgarners Giants put the finishing touches on another World Series victory Wednesday night, the gambling world wasted no time in looking ahead to next October.

Bovada released odds for the 2015 World Series winners Thursday with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals pegged as the favorites at 15/2.

The Tigers and Angels came in behind with 10/1 odds and the Giants tied with the Cardinals at 12/1 odds.

The Chicago teams didn't fare as well, though that's to be expected (even with Joe Maddon coming into the fold on the North Side).

The Sox are tabbed at 40/1 odds and the Cubs are 33/1. Interestingly, the Cubs' odds have already improved - early Thursday morning, they were at 50/1.

Once Maddon is official and the rest of the offseason plays out, expect those odds to continue to improve for Theo Epstein's rebuilt Cubs as more and more people jump on the bandwagon.
