Funding a pension will be difficult with the unions being the biggest impediment when discussing they pay more for medical and pension costs.

All in all a very bad position for all states and municipalities that skipped making pension payments in many years. Now they make the civil servant out to be bankrupting the states when it was generally the states that balanced their budgets by not contributing because the markets had the funds rising so fast in the 90s.

If you can't trust a government to pay for deals they made, what pensions can be relied upon? Feds can just print money so the Federal System seems the only that can be trusted for now.
