<Thanks to Bush's recession< Not Bush's recession.. He tried to bring the GSE's under higher regulation, and his Administrations Economists clearly explained their concern of a systemic collapse of the Economy if the GSE's were not brought under regulation of the Treasury Dept. They wanted to strip the GSE's of their independence. The Democrats..wanted nothing to do with it. Not Bush's recession..
