You like Microsoft telling you what you what and what you need?

Microsoft only tells me what they offer, and I decide if I want to use it. It's just that simple.

The real question is whether the browser is part of the operating system. The court decided it was not. The operating system is what software uses to interface with the computer. The browser is a program that interfaces the operating system with the internet.

By your definition of the OS, none of the following should come with Windows95 (or any other OS):
* windowing system
* file manager
* networking capabilites
* tape backup
* clock/calendar
* text editor
* etc.

How is a browser any different than any of the above items? I'm genuinely interested in any responses to this.
