In recent days, Russia has repeatedly flex their muscles : On Wednesday, NATO had reported "extensive" Russian air maneuvers with long-range bombers, fighter jets and tanker aircraft. On Tuesday and Wednesday, four organizations were caught with a total of 26 Russian fighter jets - North and Baltic Sea, the Atlantic and the Black Sea.

Among the long-range bombers were also those, which can be equipped with nuclear weapons if necessary. In some cases the aircraft had not logged in, gave no transponder signals from the Civil Air Patrol and were not reached by radio.
