LSI LOGIC LICENSES MIXED-SIGNAL CORES TO DESIGN CHIPS

SAN JOSE, Calif. (Dow Jones)--LSI Logic Corp. (LSI) will license
several data conversion mixed-signal cores from SiPCore Inc.

Terms weren't disclosed.

In a press release Tuesday, LSI said the cores will expand
its existing library of more than 40 mixed-signal cores used
in the design of system-on-a-chip application-specific
integrated circuits and standard products targeting computer,
consumer, and communications applications.


SiPCore provides mixed-signal intellectual property.

LSI Logic makes and supplies ASICs.
