Given that Sun is going to port Solaris to Merced, what makes you think it is not? Phew.. at least no more ad hominen. Wait a minute. begging the question is worse. Damn. Once Solaris is ported to Merced, it'll have to compete head-to-head with Windows NT... and we all know who is going to win that contest. does the crystal ball you used display flying windows when not used for 10 minutes? IMO, today's announcement is a sign of desperation on Sun's part. SUNW is a screaming short. Then go short it.

SUNW is a screaming short. Well, by the same logic and analogy why dont you not only start shorting Sun, but also Microsoft! After all Microsoft is also writing its OS for Intel's processors. Heck, why dont you just go ahead and short Intel also since you are at it! You will even have the blessings of practically all analysts in the world (who by the way all have downgraded the entire tech sector - including INTC, MSFT and SUNW yesterday - so you are not too late if you want to start shorting these stocks!). So please go ahead and do short SUNW (and please post it here when you do and tell us at what price you shorted the stock). Many thanks in advance. Regards, Addi Jamshidi P.S - On a seperate note and just an observation (of which is not surprising): Practically every single so called con-artist (i.e. analyst) in the country downgraded the entier tech secotr yesterday (after all the stocks they downgraded had already been beaten down between 25-60%), and today - (just the day after their innocent and good thoughts for the small investors) all the stocks they downgraded are all going up!! One thing I am still confused and find it very strange: What small investor in his/her right mind* listens to these con-artists?!*
