It would not surprise me is this scoundrel, incompetent president would refuse to sign a single piece of legislation during his last two years. And that will be on him.

But they should send him a repeal of Obamacare on a monthly basis and make him veto it. Who knows, as unpopular as it is, and as many Dems have been run out of DC because of it, they might even get some Democrats to support an override.

There is plenty of good legislation the Rs could put forth -- massive budget cuts, tax cuts, eliminating horrible portions of the government like the Dept of Education, outlawing public sector unions, damn, I can think of a lot. But nothing is as important as getting rid of ACA.

As far as "shutting down the government," as far as I know only Democrats have ever done that.
