Obama's alleged incompetency is an R myth. There is no substance to it. Consequently, it will fall apart right after this election.

CNN's John King reports that Democrats are privately calling President Obama "detached," "flat footed," and "incompetent."

Really? Fuck John King. He couldn't even keep his hour slot. Why? He's such a nebbish. Ditto with the rest of the pundits.

Obama is going to go down as a very good president. He had a chance at greatness but Rs killed that one.

Obama's main "failure" is he has allowed you clowns to define him with your lies. If he's "failed" at anything, it's that. He doesn't seem to be too much into blowing his own horn, or even hiring someone to do so.

David Letterman's monologue last night included some observations that stood out for me:

"This is what happens when we have the midterm elections. The Republicans, of course, have turned against Obama, and the Democrats have also turned against Obama. That's a lonely, lonely gig being president, ladies and gentlemen.

"Take a look at this: gas under $3 a gallon -- under $3 a gallon. Unemployment under 6%, whoever thought? Stock market breaking records every day. No wonder the guy is so unpopular."
