aims to provide greater access to health care coverage, improve the quality of services delivered and reduce the rate of increase in health spending. Greater access for pre-existing condition folks(this could have been done in many other ways other than the ACA) Reduced government spending by doubling medicare advantage rates for the elderly and once again screwing those to whom promises were made and by whom taxes were paid. IOW, privatizing medicare for the benefit of the for profit health care industry. Solvency? Anything gained by screwing medicare recipients was just blown in the ME. I'm still confounded as to why Republicans despise Obama. He makes Bush look like a flaming liberal.
