Second announcement---wonder what prompted it: TULSA, Okla., Dec 16 (Reuters) - Corporate Vision Inc Tuesday said it cleared a major hurdle earlier this month in its efforts to merge with an unnamed company it describes as an acquisition-driven western oil and tire distribution corporation. The two companies finalized a mutual letter of intent on Dec. 3, Corporate Vision said. This is a "major milestone" in "efforts to restore financial stability and initiate rapid growth," the company said in a release. The unnamed company has more than $3.5 million in annual sales, Corporate Vision said. A nondisclosure agreement keeps Corporate Vision from naming the merger candidate, the company said. The main objective of the new company resulting from the merger will be rapid growth through acquisitions, the company said. The new company would take on a new name, Corporate Vision said.
