Shingles only ONCE. Do not think so, better check around the internet. Recommend the "shingles" immunization even for persons who have had shingles according to the literature. Anyone over 60 should get it, think now they recommend anyone over 50. Shingles can last weeks to months and if it attacks your eyes, i understand it is an excruciating pain. Shingles has a very high incidence for anyone who had chickenpox, I got it as soon as it was approved in Canada several years ago.
