What do you consider to be a "slow loading page"?

I just now viewed the post I am replying to. It took 14 seconds.

A view of my Subject Marks took 7 seconds. A refresh took 10 seconds.

Just as before, the SI text loads quickly. It's all the graphics that bogs it down.

The delay in the editor is annoying, too. In the distant past, it was able to keep up with my typing. Now, I have to retype several characters, or slow down.

If you have a slow loading page, hit the Esc key and submit again.
So, your solution to a poorly performing web site is to just keep trying until ......

Until what? Until the site somehow heals itself?

That's just priceless.

The SI masthead is too close to the top of the page. It has to be causing mishits for people who use tabs, and the smaller the device, the more erroneous hits.
