Yes, I can imagine. Mitt Romney is a successful businessman. His economy would have been focused on sustainable growth based on practical business experience, not ivory tower money printing dreams of Keynesian academics. So from an economic standpoint, the Romneconomy would have been far better for the long term health of this country than the Obamaconomy that we ended up with.

Now on the social, environmental, and other fronts, things may very well have been much worse. The GOP tends to be extreme and poor governors when it comes to social policy, but they tend to be better economic and monetary managers than the Dems, who always want to use someone else's money to implement their utopic dreams. The one key exception to that previous sentence was Bush Junior, who was a terrible President on almost every score social and economic, as well as foreign policy-wise, and environmentally. Ironically, Bush Jr was good for the environment when he was the Texas Governor, but it didn't translate to his Presidency. Obama scores high marked on the environment in my book. He's done everything he could on the environment and that is one point I'll defend Obama on.
