Hi Tom, I'm fairly new to SI but have watched your posts and see that you also trade the S&P's. I've been using TradeStation for several years for S&P and stocks, but a few months ago I wound up a real estate business I was in and now have more time to watch the futures.
I bought the SPH yesterday morning and noticed your post that you got a buy signal yesterday afternoon which encouraged me to carry it over night, I was on the fence whether to stay with it or not and had planed to exit MOC. I'm glad I stayed in, I bailed today not too far off the hi.
I take it you are a position trader using a mechanical system, but I wonder if you use protective stops or trailing stops or just wait for a signal from your system? I think the placement of stops is the toughest part of trading the S&P's.
Let me hear from you if you're so inclined.
Clay.
