Again, your arithmetic is off. Calculate how many folks ( about 2% of the unemployed) went back to work. Add that to the 32% figure and it just comes to 34%.

Are you trying to spin a theory that as unemployment rises, more people show up to vote. Did you not realize that the States which were Red before the Obama wave in 2008 are returning to their red status after 6 years, the normal term for a Senator?

One thing you will find is that when people exit unemployment benefits and return to the work force.. Their attitudes on others still receiving unemployment benefits sours quickly.. Hence... "If I gotta go to work... Everyone goes to back to work".
