Have you checked out "Orange is the next Black" yet? Since my last review, I've seen discs 2 and 3 with one more to go. I think the overall tone changed somewhat after disc 1, leaning a bit more to the serious with comic relief being more of an exception. It's not anywhere like "Oz", but I find it a bit addictive. I guess I haven't exactly rushed through them though. Anyway, it suddenly dawned on me after around 9 episodes, that the Russian chef character, "Red", was the star ship captain from "Star Trek-Voyageur". I know that Sheldon and the gang hated this series, but I thought it had its moments with interesting characters such as "Seven of Nine" and the holographic doctor. I'm so embarrassed that I didn't recognize her right away. I mean, it was Captain Janeway, afterall! That's almost like not recognizing Capt. Kirk or Jean-Luc Picard.

I so admire you and everyone else that cherry picks shows by streaming and by other means. I feel like a big, fat, ugly American slug you just plops down in his easy chair at the end of the day and scrolls through hundreds of cable channels until he finds ONE show worth watching, all the time hating the big, fat, ugly Comcast cable bill that comes every month.

I have to say I love my DVR. I also love sports although I could live without just about everything EXCEPT MISSING THE BEARS and the NFL playoffs. I'd miss the Cubs and Sox to some extent, although I'm watching less and less baseball.

It's all so confusing. I think I'll go read a book. Or learn how to dance.
