<[ Post # 30,000 coming up , Pat ] Ready to pounce on it?? <e>>

I suppose it shouldn't be surprising that an insentience of shame would follow paucity of character and truance of accountability.

Ray --

I've been in Internet hell again today. I'm blaming Netscape, but not sure yet if that's the problem. Every time I'd sign on to SI, I could get as far as the list of posts and then when I'd click on one, my screen would freeze. Talk about getting to the buffet line and having your meal ticket taken away!

Cross your fingers. Maybe this will post and maybe it won't.

In case this is my one shot, let me tell you I phoned Spectrum and was told everything's humming along just fine. The news they're hoping to release is one of those "the vendor's holding it up" scenarios we know well from our Amati days. Susan, the IR director, said if news doesn't hit by Friday, they'll hold it for the first of the year. Since I'm buying as a long-term investment, I don't care one way or the other as long as the company's got its priorities straight. And they appear to. She said the key thrust is getting their DSP designed into products at an early
stage. Their C6X-based products will be a big part of the business going forward, both in digital radio and survellence for wireless base stations, and RAS and digital motor control products. I called one fund manager who's been in the stock for several years and he said the stock has good support around 5 1/2 and 5 3/4. I put in an order at 3/4 and didn't get one share filled.

At any rate, this should be on the SSPIF thread, but I'm not sure I'll get that far considering how tempermental my server's been today.

Heck, maybe I should wish everyone a happy holiday in case I don't get back on. :))

Cheers!

Pat
