Yes, I'm assuming they'll do well -- be somewhat liberated -- by the spin-off. Competition is attacking them-- could be a significant negative and a reason to be very wary. KN might be up to defending itself though: (from '13 annual report): "...Knowles is the No. 1 global supplier of microphones, the No. 1 global supplier of hearing aid solutions, among the top three suppliers of speakers and receivers, and a global supplier of precision devices.
