If so, why didn't a Christianity w/o a risen Jewish messiah arise? ....Have already pointed out the real unsung heros of the play were always the Jewish moderates, you have such tiny attention span. They all do get murdered in Jerusalem in the First war by primitive rebel fundmentalist fantatics. Why taking Jerusalem was so easy at the last for the Romans, these mucks were at war with themselves inside the city. We find many Hellenized Jews input there all along & it does materialize with famous Hellene rabbi Hillel from Babylon, then various rabbis named Jesus (there were many) who's philosophical approach tried to break frozen molds. Jewish religious life was not all that sophisticated until just after Babylon and then arrival of the Hellenes, more a highly ritualized primitive animal sacrifice cult composed of tribal clans & tiny chief /kings before that, mostly illiterate. Not until exposure to Babylon's ancient culture really do these primitive tribes start to join in the religious evolutionary party, seeing the many temples there, the wisdom literature that must have absolutely fascinated them. One notes its no small thing that most Jews even that far back choose to remain in Babylon, that always flys right over your head? Monotheism is a natural extension of the evolution of human anthropomorphizing which comes into play with the introspection that comes with more developing writing/literature & human myth making. Also this was primitive group technologically that had to invent stories about having such skills, they hadn't even mastered metalurgy from being simple shepherders as opposed to the great civilizations around them. One god was all they were able to handle, look at the Mosaic laws, so primitive one just goes 'meh'. The statues we find of the fertility goddesses in Jerusalem were only made of clay up to 600BC, they couldnt even carve stone.

Reading the Catholic Advent on Justin Martyr is the great revelation of what a pile of whimsy it all is, i wont link you to it. But no great wonder these fellows have to keep the lights down real low & mumble alot, they are caught in the most laughable polemics right from the start. Especially with Martyr they try to prove that all Greek thought & philosophy exists because of some magical tranferrence over from Moses, had me slightly ROTFL. You see this dating of the Mosaic/Abraham origin stories become so important to such tiny tribes who in reality had so few skills they couldn't even forge their own swords. That's why they opt for magic staffs & sling shots , the rest of the narrative is as real as Marvel comic heros, there was no exodus.

The more i study this, the more 100% sure none of this is older than 600BC, especially when you read those incredibly clumsy passages in Exodus where Moses is making bronze castings 1500BC to ward off raining poisonous snakes. Where in the world of archaeology do you find bronze or even iron anything in Palestine? One could even give it up to 1300BC & its just as silly, but still they cling to this nonsense, trapped up to their necks in this make believe. The Catholic Church apologists are caught right at the start with Martyr, bullshitting their sweet asses off that Greeks were only enlightened because of Moses teachings, only human nature could produce such historical bullshit, which is the basis of my thesis. Men make up stories as fast as they made & created gods which vary from sect to sect, tribe to tribe even to this day. The Dead Sea Scrolls only 150BC and look how primitive they are, total nonsense, these people were not that advanced, that took the Babylonian exposure, Egyptian, Greek & Persian. The rest is later made up tribal bullshit & imitated hero & origin myths, all copied. Plato did not copy from the Hebrews, i guarantee you this, nor any of the other great philsophers of Greece, they may have been influenced by the Phoenicians, Indo/Assyrians Babylonians & Egyptians, not a chance with the insignificant Hebrews.
