In the news release it states that actual drilling will take place in February and March. There is a lot of work being done vis a vis geophysics and sediment sampling. NR makes it sound like there is definitely a pipe in Munn Lake.

Vaughn,
I get the NR by fax. A few days later it usually is posted to the Kalahari Web site.
A key point in the NR after what I posted was 75 km (45 miles) of geophysics on the ice of Munn Lake opposite the Yuri diamond discovey is just finishing.
A crew of six men have been on geophysics while two other men are taking 240 sediment samples from the bottom of Munn Lake (one sample taken every 300').
One thousand seven hundred indicator mineral samples were taken this year and are currently being processed.
The above data will be processed, targets prioritized and subsequent, refined targets will be drilled in Feb - May 1998.
A camp is in place in the discovery area as are the drills and supplies.
Currently, there are six indicator mineral trains in the south-west corner of Back Lake and five trains in the south-east corner of Mackay Lake to follow up to their respective sources.

I believe Stockwatch has the NR also.
