yes, there have been mumblings from some fed folks that they will reduce the balance sheet over a ten year period which comes to about that number. but will that really happen in this context of deflationary concerns and global slowdown? mchugh is a permabear who makes rational arguments that the market has ignored for years.

will there be a grand reckoning and if so, when? now, soon, never?
