I'm not an expert like you, but I'm pretty sure a Menorah isn't an Egyptian symbol. The Egyptians loaded up the Hebrews with all sorts of treasures when they left at the Exodus. Chief among those treasures were no doubt Gold objects, that would have been melted down and reformed into other objects.

Where gold and silver were mined is irrelevant.

Besides what is important to Biblical believers isn't the material culture of the writers and subjects.
