We have no idea when the next ice age will start. The alleged warming we face is based entirely on models, not on meaningful real world evidence.

"We are going to be faced with a warming that is so rapid that it will be difficult to make adaptions in time." So say the flawed models that so far have been completely inaccurate. If you want to stop using fossil fuels and live in a tent like Solon then knock yourself out. I'm not willing to pay huge tax increases and go back to the stone age, just so you can feel better. The main driver of Earths climate is the Sun. Mans contribution is negligible at best.
