You remind me of, how should I say it, a liberal, progressive fascist. You keep on attacking, make absurd comments, demean anyone who disagrees with, call others idiots, morons, etc. and don't ever believe you are wrong. Are you pissed because of last week's election results? You call other fascists, yet you really need to look in the mirror (yes, you have called others morons, idiots, fascists, so this is on topic:))

DEFINITION OF 'MARKET CAPITALIZATION: The total dollar market value of all of a company's outstanding shares. Market capitalization is calculated by multiplying a company's shares outstanding by the current market price of one share.

Are you still confused about the market cap?

Do you still think this is true?

The market cap includes EVERYTHING. Cash, shares, bonds, assets, you name it. Market cap is how much the whole company is worth. And it worth less now than 2 + years ago... LMFAO... too funny...

Your daffynition of Market Cap:

"The market cap includes EVERYTHING. Cash, shares, bonds, assets, you name it. Market cap is how much the whole company is worth."

Hilarious!

And I see you have been working that "It's worth less now than it was X years ago" theme forever, huh?

In the message I'm replying to, you said AAPL was worth less in 2014 than it was in 2012, and today you're saying it's worth less now than it was in 2014.

That means it's worth less now than it was in 2012, right?

Let's check...

November 2012 AAPL was at +/- $80, and now, in Nov 2015 AAPL is at $116.

Hey! What the!!??

You said it was more in 2012 than it was in 2014, and more in 2014 than it was in 2015, and it's (brace yourselves, everyone) not true.

You lied.

Thanks again for years worth of laughs.

You're our favorite pet troll.

Market cap is the total value of the all the shares.

That's why Apple can be worth a trillion one day... and as of today according to Yahoo 916 billion today.

Investors decide what its worth.
